A successful applicant must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Demonstrate leadership potential
Present a record of service to the school and / or the community
Present a minimum grade of 75% in courses that are required for the their anticipated program of study
Demonstrate an interest in their selected field of study
Intend to enroll in full-time diploma or degree studies, of at least two years in length, at an accredited, public community college in Canada. Our National Awards are tenable only at GWMSC consortium colleges
Be a Canadian citizen or resident
Be in their final year of study for a high school diploma OR be an adult in the work force
Must NOT be a university or college graduate within the last 3 years
Must NOT be currently enrolled in a diploma or degree program at a community college
