The Garfield Weston Merit Scholarship for Colleges
The GWMSC is a program of the Canadian Merit Scholarship Foundation, Canada’s largest independent scholarship granting organization.
The GWMSC is the only scholarship program in Canada open exclusively to community college-bound students. Our selection process and on-going support system for scholars are designed with the unique needs of college students in mind.
We identify and support talented high school students and adults who are entering two or three year diploma programs at community colleges across Canada. Our award recipients show promise of leadership and a strong commitment to service in the community.
